FAQs
As an owner or manager of a bar, restaurant or fast food outlet,
it is up to you to ensure the health and safety of your employees
is not compromised as they carry out their daily duties. Drinks dispense
gas contains CO2 which is a toxic gas. If you store dispense gas
in a confi ned space, you must comply with these regulations and
complete a risk assessment.
When you monitor for Carbon Dioxide you
need equipment with proven reliability. With over 60,000 monitors
in the field, the Analox 50™ is
designed specifically for the harsh cellar environment and is covered
by a 15 year warranty.

How the Analox 50™ works The Analox 50TM is fitted with audio visual alarms. When excess
levels of Carbon Dioxide are detected an alarm is triggered. You
should then ventilate the cellar and wait outside until the Analox
50TM returns to safe mode (green light fl ashing only).
At dangerous
levels a second alarm warns of the need to immediately evacuate
the cellar, until the monitor returns to safe mode. By installing
an Analox 50TM you know your employees, non-employees (such as
suppliers)
and yourself are protected.
Benefits of the Analox 50™
- The Analox 50TM ensures it’s safe for your employees,
non employees (such as suppliers) and your self to enter or work
inside
a cellar where Carbon Dioxide is stored.
- The Analox 50TM ensures you comply with current legislation,
protecting you from possible prosecution under health and safety
legislation.
- The Analox 50TM ensures good cellar management - you know immediately
when you have a gas problem.
